Image Deploy floods switch ports

We use Acronis Snap deploy to deploy images to our PC.


I went to image one this morning and from what I can tell it has flooded the switch with traffic and has stopped all users from logging in.
The PC's just sit there on the log on screen with either please wait or welcome for a very long time.


We tried to image a PC a while ago and we got the same problem but uses were logged in and apps crashed, outlook wasn't able to talk to the exchange server, etc


Once I stop the deployment it takes a little while to recover but all is better with-in a minute or two.
The switch everyone is connect to is a HP ProCurve 2626.


What would be causing this?
