I'm looking to upgrade our whole network infrastructure. I currently have Cisco 3750's and 3Com 4400 at the Edge. So one Core fiber switch and about 38 Edge switches. I'm looking to go with something that will give me capabilty to go 10GbE on the backbone and 1GbE to the desktop eventually (because once I buy I won't get the money again for 10 or so years I'm sure), POE for future additional wireless APs and VoIP (We have older building and I don't want to worry about powering phones. There is also demand for better streaming of video to the classroom. I like the pricing of Brocade and HP, Cisco is about 50K more. I just can't find enough reviews on the Brocades. Their technical specs are as good as the Cisco, and I hear a lot of rumbling about HP and the different CLI's and the shake ups in the company, so being cautious with that quote. I've been very happy with my service from Cisco and HP (for the 3Com's), but really like the technical specs and price of the Brocade. Any reviews out there?
