I'm not far enough into my WCNA Exam studies to know if this is normal or not. In troubleshooting network issues on my PC, I ran a Wireshark scan for a few minutes. With the exception of about 10 entries, every single entry is an ARP request in the form of:
"Who has router IP? Tell my local machine IP."
There are over 400 entries exactly like that, and they happened within 2 seconds of each other. Is this normal? Does this have anything to do with the network issues I am experiencing?
I am the only one that I have found that is having these connection "drops". Symptoms include:
-Web pages only rendering HTML formatting, forsaking the CSS code.
-My network-monitoring Web Apps lose their connection and won't refresh successfully for minutes at a time.
-RDP sessions being disconnected.
I've run Symantec scans, Malwarebytes Scans, checked the drivers, checked the cable and port and have duplicated these issues on wired and wireless.
My only (novice) thought is that these high-volume ARP requests aren't normal and I am stuck in a broadcast loop.
