multiple NICS on same subnet but different routers

I am replacing a router on a network as well as a public IP address. I have the new router configured and working fine. I want to plug in the new router on a different NIC on the Server and try to gracefully change the server over to the other network with as little down time as possible. Both the new and old routers are set to x.x.x.x/24. Would adding the other router to another NIC on the server cause routing/connectivity problems with the server? I.e. the server would end up with a static IP address on NIC1 of x.x.x.99 and NIC2 would have x.x.x.94. The kicker is that x.x.x.99 is on a network on one router while x.x.x.94 is on a network on another router.
