I will routinely get a call multiple times thru the week from various users who report that they no longer have network access (what they mean is, they can not use the web based products, or internet for that matter, but drive maps, logons, etc still work fine) What the problem is is that IE goes offline (yes, we have to use IE for the EMR system) Under IE connection properties, there will exist a dialup connection. Once deleted, and IE told to work online, everything is good. Usually, this will be fine for a few weeks, sometimes only a few days, until that dial up connection reappears.
I've been thru group policies, and have found nothing. Does anyone have any clue where this thing keeps coming from, and why it randomly appears on user pc's? I can not find this dial up connection on the servers anywhere. I even told policies to push out the IE settings that were on the AD server, but that did'tn really seem to do anything. Policies are working fine as near as we can tell.
Any/all help/insight will be greatly appreciated!
