Our school network has about 300 windows PCs on it. Every teacher has a their own login on the network, but we just have a generic one called student that all the students use. All of the teacher's speeds are fine for accessing the internet , but the student login is really slow. We have a windows server 2000 and a barracuda firewall. We don't have any bandwidth throttling capabilities that I know about. The PCs with XP seem to be find but the ones with windows 7 are not. Does anyone have any ideas why this might happen?
