Hi all. I look after a network for a small non-profit organization,
They need a new VPN solution for 8-10 remote users (all at indvidual locations) to access the network at the main office. It will be mainly for access to a network share, but occasionally for RDP to a local workstation. Most are Windows XP to 7, might be 1 or 2 Macs.
They currently have a Sonicwall appliance (SSL VPN-200) but it won't support 256bit certificates, and the users run in to issues getting the client installed.
Looking for something dead simple for the end-users to use, so they don't get hung up at browser warnings like "oh noes, the certificate isn't trusted" or "danger, this software is dangerous"
It can be a real appliance, a virtual appliance or something else, as long as it's fool-proof on the end-user side, and relatively low-cost ($500.00 or less is the approximate budget)
If it's a real hardware appliance, I'd prefer not to be held hostage by subscriptions, but for the right simple solution could make an exception :)
Any good solutions out there? (remember, end-user sumplicity is the main requirement.
Thanks!
