Okay Spiceheads I got my shipment of Ubiquiti Tough Cable Carrier. I have been using the Pro for years and was always wanting to test out the Carrier to see if it was any better. Here is my so what of a review.
First Impressions
The boxes on both of then cables are great and have a build in rolling spool that you can lock and unlock. The Carrier box is about 4 inches wider then the Pros more "stock" size. Carrier cable is also a lot heavy then the Pro I am guessing because of all of its carrier goodness. The Carrier is thicker then the Pro in fact the weatherproof jack of the Carrier fits over the Pro.
Working with it
Both cables are okay to work with I like the Pro over the Carrier because it is a little softer but not so much that it can't be its own fishing tape. The max run I have done with Pro is 300ft and it worked great (I didn't push my luck). I have not ran Carrier over 100ft because of just getting it. The pain when working with Carrier is the secondary cable shield and anti-crosstalk divider it just slows me down when working with it. I know its a great thing to have in it.
