I have a 5400zl setup as a core switch with routing enabled. I have only one data vlan which is the default vlan 1. I also have 8 voice vlans. I can successfully route voice traffic between my voice vlans no problem. I have a distributed shoretel system spread through 8 buildings.
I just want our pc clients to be able to access the main shoretel apps server located on one of the voice vlans. From the switch itself I can ping data servers from any voice vlan interface. I can ping the shoretel server from the default vlan however pc clients can not access it or ping it.
On the default vlan client side of things, traffic is trying to go out my default firewall gateway which is the gateway entered into everybodies internet connection. I've added a firewall static route to redirect shoretel traffic to the ip interface of the default vlan but still can't connect.
My switch routing table says that all my local vlans are connected.
Any help is appreciated
