DHCP not resolving correct ip

Hi,

Recently I am facing strange problems with my windows server 2003 after having totally new installation.

My configuration of the serve as under:

Machine is Having windows server 2003

confugered as DC, DNS Server, DHCP Server and the ISA Server 2006 with all the service packs.

System is with two NIC's and their IPCONFIG's are as under:

Internal NIC: Conected with internal LAN (Static IP)

IP: 10.0.0.1

s/Mask: 255.0.0.0

Default Gateway: NOT Assigned

Primary DNS: 10.0.0.1

External NIC: Connected with DSL Modem+Router with static IP (As it was not getting IP from ISP Modem + Router.

IP: 192.168.1.100

S/Mask: 255.255.255.0

Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

Primary DNS: 192.168.1.1

NSLOOKUP on main server shows:

Default server :UNKNOWN

Address: 192.168.1.100

NSLOOKUP on client machine:

Default server :server.abc.com

Address: 10.0.0.1

(which is the correct result)

DHCP Server showing wrong IP address:

Server (192.168.1.100)

In the DNS and domain name settings of DHCP Configuration, It resolves as under:

Parent Domain: abc.com

server name: server

Reslove to IP address: 192.168.1.100 (instead of 10.0.0.1)

Can anyone help me out solving this puzzle.

Thanks in advance - Arshadjb
