Hey Spiceheads,
We just moved to a new building and with it all our servers. The issue is that we cannot receive incoming emails. We can send out or internally but not receive from external. Our spam filter provider can see the messages building up in the queue but it can't make a SMTP connection to our server (Lotus Domino 8.5.2)
We have a new temporary internet connection with one static IP and a Sonicwall TZ215 as our gateway device. I can see in the logs that the IP of the spam filter is trying to make a connection over SMTP (port 25) but the connection is dropped every time. I tried changing the spam filter provider too just as a test but it's experiencing the same issue.
I can access our webmail which makes me think the NAT translation is working ok and the firewall is letting it through.
Anyone have any ideas? Sonicwall or perhaps the Domino server?
Thanks.
