hey guys
I just switched my network all up and am running into this issue..
DHCP server is plugged into Switch 1.
Switch 1 and Switch 2 have a Link Aggregation on ports 47 and 48 of both switches, joining them together
Internet Router is plugged into Switch 1 (separate from DHCP server)
Internal Router that connects this LAN to two other subnets is plugged into Switch 1
Seem to only be able to get DHCP if plugged into the Switch 1. If I set a manual address, I can connect and work no problem.
Also when plugged into Switch 2, we cannot access the networks made available by Internal Router.
I figured you'd just plug Switch 2 into Switch 1, plug all servers etc into Switch 1, and everything would be all hunky dory... Is it to do with the Link Aggregation? I could try turning that off I suppose... Just wanted to have a 2gigabit connection between both switches to keep congestion low.
