I have RV016 Cisco small business, It seems like it doesn't build to last, In 3 years we replace 2 of this unit.
One of em have bad port, and one of them just keep freezing up monthly or weekly in an air conditioned room, so not because of overheating.
Anyway we got a new one and its working fine now. I want to replace this RV016.
Not to mention the new version have limitation of distributing 100 ip only if its setup as DHCP.
Which is strange the old version was not limited that way.
Summarizing what i need on the new VPN Router are :
- 20 VPN Tunnels using IPSEC
- IPSEC (IKE, 3DES, SHA1)
- Remote Group Setup ->Remote Security Group Type "IP ONLY"
- Remote Group Setup -> Remote Security Group Type "Subnet"
By the way I have Meraki MX-80 as my firewall but it cant do "Remote Security Group Type IP only" can only do "Remote Security Group Type Subnet" . One of my tunnel must use this "security group type IP only". The tunnel wont establish because it was "Subnet Type" in meraki. Thats why i need a separate VPN Router.
