I know what port triggering is suppose to accomplish and have set it up on "consumer" routers before. However, I've never seen an option called "port triggering" on a business oriented router before. I find it hard to believe that it can't be done though. I figure there is probably a way to set this up using SNAT and DNAT rules, but am not sure. Could someone present an example of how you would accomplish this?
I'm trying to move the following rules on a FiOS router over to a EdgeRouter Lite.
- Protocol: L2TP Tigger - Layer Two Tunneling Protocol
- Outgoing Trigger Ports: UDP Any -> 1701
- Incoming Ports to Open: UDP Any -> Same as Initiating Ports
- Protocol: TFTP Triggering - Trivial File Transfer Protocol
- Outgoing Trigger Ports: UDP 1024-65535 -> 69
- Incoming Ports to Open: UDP Any -> Same as Initiating Ports
