I was given a quote for the following items and want to see what would be equal to this in HP hardware. The Cisco switch P/N is N5K-C5548UP-B-S32. I know HP is lifetime warranty so without the Smartnet I can save $2600/year on each switch (and HP hardware seems to cost less than Cisco).
- Cisco Nexus 5548UP Switch - Cisco Nexus 5548UP Storage Solutions Bundle FCoE/FC/iSCSI Switch with 32 x SFP+ ports. Includes 8 x Cisco MDS 9000 Family 2/4/8-Gbps Fibre Channel-Shortwave, SFP+, LC (DS-SFP-FC8G-SW)
- Cisco Enhanced Layer 2 License - License - 1 switch - promo - for Nexus 5548 Storage Solutions Bundle, 5548P, 5548UP, 5548UP Storage Solutions Bundle
- Cisco SFP+ Copper Twinax Cable - Twinaxial cable - SFP+ - SFP+ - 3.3 ft cable for connecting switches
- Cisco SMARTnet - Annual SMARTnet maintenance with 8x5xNext-Business-Day advanced hardware replacement.
Anyone know what would be compareable?
