I'm looking for a 10GB switch with 12 ports or so to support iSCSi. I would buy 2 for redundancy and use them to connect a 2-node Starwinds SAN to a 3-host VMware cluster.
We could go with regular copper ports or SFP+. I have a vendor recommending SFP+, but I'm thinking that copper Cat6a may be the way of the future.
I'm thinking dumb switches would be OK.
This looks good, but only has 8 ports. I would have 5 10GB devices to start.
