Strange occurrence. We have some 50 Yealink T20p phones provisioned on a hosted VoIP platform. The phones are allocated IP addresses by our DHCP Server through a MAC reservation.
In the last few days three of the phones would not receive incoming calls. After hard resets, firmware updates and changing everything to do with the network the problem could not be resolved. Except, on a whim I removed the MAC reservation and once the phone received a dynamic IP address the phones started receiving calls again.
Are there any reasonable explanations as to what might be going on?
