Hello
I am working on my Cisco CCNA & CCIE Certifications and a Master of Science in IT Management. I have a project where I am trying to monitor a small Wi-Fi network with five (5) Access Points (APs) three of which are Cisco AIR-BR1310G-A-K9-R wireless routers and the Other two (2) are EnGenius EOC2611P & ENH200EXT routers. I am trying to find a real-time Network Monitoring solution for this network. There is also a Gateway Router (GWR) provided by Comcast which is a D-Link SMCD3G-CCR router. I need to be able monitor in real-time (and stats over elapsed time) the status of all routers, any faults or slow downs, the Internet Connection status, network connection speed by AP & network aggregate, total bandwidth usage by AP & network aggregate, user connect type (802.11b or g or n) and protocol being used such as HTTP, VOIP, etc... at a minimum. I was looking at you Website this evening and specifically at the Network Monitoring Software and I was unable to determine if your product would actually fulfill my needs for this project.
I am hoping that someone can help to point me in the right direction with respect to Network Monitoring Software and to advise me as to whether the Spiceworks solution would be a good fit for my needs. If not do you have an other product suggestions that would? I would appreciate any suggestions that you might have to offer.
Thank you in advance for your time, consideration and assistance!
Doug
