IP Camera Network Setup

Hello,

We are looking to install an all IP based camera system. We have three network closest that we will have to pull wires to. We have been told to build a separate network and our consultant already configured one of the switches. He basically created a vlan xx for the camera network and then set port 28 to "uplink to network".

So this switch will be in say switchroom 1. We will need a similar switch in rooms 2 and 3. To keep these separate from our main network, I assume i physically wire these three switches together, and just have the one in switchroom 1 plugged into our main network (core switch/gateway)?
