I've been dealing with an issue all week at a branch office where after someone onsite did a hard reset on some network equipment we have had several users on the network with inconsistent connections. They will have a connection for maybe 2 minutes then it will drop out for 10 seconds and reconnect. We do most of our work through citrix remote desktop servers so it makes it extremely painful and hard to be productive for these users.
So far we have setup a new DHCP server but this didn't seem to resolve the issue.
We have replaced our firewall as well but the same users seem to be having the same problem.
There seems to be no correlation between wired/wireless connection or age of the equipment.
There is some other odd behavior I've noticed with at least one of the affected users where he can ping the DHCP server but the server cannot ping him, this may not be related, I'm not even sure what that indicates.
Any suggestions might be helpful, I'm pretty much out of ideas. The affected users and I are all extremely frustrated.
