NIC Team Hyper-V

Hey everyone, I was hoping someone could help me out here, and tell me if I'm doing this the right way.

So we have a Dell R720, which has 10 nics + an SFP port, and since we really aren't using it for production i figured I'd try to set up some teams to play with..

I chose to do a switch Independent team mode, and a dynamic load balance mode.

I chose to do a 4 nic team (4gb Team). I created it through the 2012 r2 GUI. I moved a VM to that server because i wanted to try running some VM's off that team. So I made the virtual switch to point to that multiplexor driver.

Then I have that specific VM use that switch (Thats pointing to the multiplexor driver), and i change the vlan to our specific vlan.

Now i can get to our main switch and when i ping it, from the VM, its like 2ms, 168ms, 200ms, 75ms, 76ms, 80ms, 3ms.... etc.... Completely random

Whereas if i just use 1 nic its 2ms consistently.

Is this the way its supposed to work? I haven't played with this much because I dont know a whole lot about it, but if someone could help out it'd be awesome.
