Hi all - hoping you can help!
We're running a Server 2008 R2 Domain with Win7 clients running DHCP. There are two networks within our domain and a number of clients that need to access services and programs that are on both.
For example:
Corporate Network: 10.226.193.X
Second Network: 10.225.193.X
Users on the corporate network have a shortcut to a program installed on a server (also on the corporate network), however this program links to a service running on the second network...if that makes sense?!
When running this shortcut, it takes AGES to load and when switching between functions of it, it's laggy and often crashes. When running this program on the second network, it works like a dream!
I think this could be because the clients are trying to run applications from a different subnet, is there a way I can add a second subnet address / reference in the DHCP scope to speed up this transaction?
Thanks in advance.
