Hi there! I'm from a small SME which has recently expanded and we have two offices now (yay!).
My job is to link these two small offices together. At the HQ we have an ASUS RT-N66U router, capable of acting as a PPTP VPN server. We have a 150/75 Mbps fiber link, a file server, Asterisk IP PBX and mail server.
My question is: what hardware solution can I get to create a PPTP site-to-site link to the HQ? I do not want to replace the ASUS router in the HQ because it took us forever to make it play well with the ISP (VLANs and stuff).
The small 2nd office will have maybe 3 laptops and 3 Digium/Cisco SIP IP phones. Internet access is already provided by the building management.
I was thinking of getting another router and using DD-WRT or Tomato, but would that work? Thank you!
