Got an odd one here-
Windows 7 PC suddenly stopped connecting to the local domain. Proprietary apps seem to be able to get data from the local database server, Internet is available but very slow (networking tray icon has the exclamation point), Spiceworks shows the machine offline. Odd thing is I can ping the servers, firewall from the PC in question however pings from servers back to the PC time out. Same from my workstation to the PC.
PC is set to static ip address with local DNS servers (CIDR /24)
2008 domain is simple physical (no vlans etc)
PC logs on and shows connected to domain in system properties.
I've swapped cables and checked wiring, switched the cable to a different port on the switch (other devices on the switch are working properly).
This PC has been connecting and working flawlessly for over a year prior to yesterday.
Scratching my head at this point.
Would appreciate any suggestions
