Can't reach C$ of an XP machine from a Win7 machine

I can connect to some XP machines from the Win7 box, but not all. I can ping by name, but I can't browse any shares or RDP to them.

I've turned off Simple File Sharing on the XP boxes and firewall, and still nothing.

Quite a head scratcher.
