In a normal network that uses static routes that go to another firewall or gateway, does the dhcp server push out the static routes to the hosts? Also there would be no RIP published routes.
How does the route reach the computer where it shows under the "route print" command?
It's something I've always wondered how it works on an elemental level. Rather than merely knowing how to make it work, I'd like to know how it works, as this knowledge could be useful in troubleshooting.
