WWW opening IIS on DC instead of External Website

I am having a problem with DNS on a Windows domain.

What hapened:

Our internal and external domain names are the same.
From internal DNS we had an A Record pointing to an external webserver.

This was all working fine, up until I deleted the www A Record, and re-created it to point to a new external web server. (We changed hosting providers)

What happens now is that if you type in www.domain.co.za, it shortens it to domain.co.za and redirects you to one of our domain controllers's (the DC is random - you'd get a responce from one DC - and the next from another.), which then opens IIS "Under Construction" page instead. From outside the network you can access the website no issue.

The strange thing is, if I ping www.domain.com - it returns the correct external address., same with NSlookup, you query any DNS server on the network, and it returns the correct external IP address. Even weirder, I did a wireshark capture and the address the pc thinks it is getting a response from is random, yet IIS on any of the DC's opens up.

I Tried Flushing the DNS Server Cache, Restarting the Service, Delegating the subdomain to the external Name Server responsible for the listing, doing a URL Redirection from IIS on the DC's. Nothing works!

The DC's are running Server 2003 R2, with the exception of 1 running Server 2008 R2.

I have tried and searched the web but cannot find a solution.

I am Baffled!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
