Hello All,
In my test lab I am trying to do some testing. I have 1 DHCP server (192.168.1.20) running as a DHCP server off course. It has scope 1 (192.168.1.1-192.168.1.255), subnet mask 255.255.255.0, gateway: 192.168.1.3 and DNS pointing to 192.168.1.20
Now, I am trying to create a super scope with 192.168.45.X. I am able to create it. And before even creating the super scope I have went to the TCP/IP settings of the DHCP server and added an additional IP address 192.168.45.1
The 2nd scope was now created 192.168.45.1-192.168.45.255. So, basically scope 1 and scope 2 were added to a superscope. The settings for scope 2 are:
Router: 192.168.45.1
DNS: 192.168.1.20
I go to a test computer and I am able to browse the internet however, I am not able to access the LAN. I understand this is because it needs routing. So i decided to install RRAS role on Windows server 2003. I did it and LAN routing is also added. I just made sure LAN routing is added and restarted the service. Yet I cannot ping or access resources between the subnets. Please help.
