Anyone know if it is possible to send a Netsh command to a local pc on the network to reset IPV4 to obtain address automatically?
The story: I used Teamviewer in to a PC (not locally), changed the IPV4 address to a static but forgot to put in the default gateway and then hit apply. As soon as I did that, I lost Wan connection.
I am also viewing another PC on that local network with Teamviewer with no problem. I am able to ping the computer in question with the static IP I had set.
I need to change the IPV4 settings to obtain IP address automatically so it can get the defauly gateway address and have wan connection.
Both computers have Windows 8. I am not able to use remote desktop because neither PC has Windows pro.
Any help is appreciated.
