I'm having problems with spiceworks regularly displaying an incorrect IP address on one of my devices. I have a Small Business Server 2008 on 192.168.0.3. Nslookup/ping/dns all resolve correctly, however since upgrading to SW7 a few weeks back it keeps flicking the detected IP address between 192.168.0.3 and 192.168.0.17 every few minutes.
The .17 address is part of a block of IP addresses assigned in DHCP to RAS (192.168.0.11-192.168.0.17). The .17 address is the internal interface for RAS on the SBS box.
This causes problems with the monitoring side as it shows the server is down etc when it is actually not.
It has only become a problem since upgrading to SW7, so not sure if this is a SW issue or a server issue. I'm running SW7.1.00010.
