We are currently looking at the Meraki MX400 for our corporate office and MX100s and MX60s for the branches. What we really like about these devices is the zero touch auto-provisioning. We might need to ship these the 100 sites, and the people on site might not be the most technical people.
Does any other vendor offer similar capabilities in a UTM device?
The biggest issue that we are having with Meraki right now is that the Advanced Security License is an all or nothing deal. We need the branch devices to VPN back to the MX400 at HQ, but we don't need all of the features in the Advanced Security License at every location, and we certainly don't want to pay for it at every location.
The only alternative that I am seeing right now is to use a different vendor for HQ and use Meraki for the branches that need easy provisioning.
