Network Drop Off

Hi All, 

This is a strange one and i dont know where to start, I have inherited a network which consists of about 70 switches every few weeks we seem to get a drop out where all the ip phones go offline and all network connectivity only for about 10 seconds sounds like something powering off and back on. 

Is there any tools I can use to try and figure out where it is.
