switch Ip configurations: redondancy, and transportation

hi all,

i'm new in IT world, sorry in advance for noob question maybe allready answer dosen of time.

I have to configure a serveru rack.

2 switches for a lan and a backup lan.

I configure the serveur Ip (6 serveurs with application, webservice and database)

each server has 1 NIC for network conected to each switch, fo redondancy.

i have several questions:

FYI: I have 2 powerconnect 5524 switches, stacked.

I'm configuring here in may office the serveur, then it will be sent to a customer.

So I think Ips may change.

currently, I  ('m connected behind a internet box, that provided to the first switch an IP using DCHP.

I took this IP, and make it static on the switch.

192.168.1.19

I then configured all serveur with 1 IP on the first NIC (em1) I decided, and use the switch IP as default gateway:

192.168.1.111 , 192.168.1.112,  for web front serveur

192.168.1.121, 192.168.1.122 , for applciation server

192.168.1.131, 192.168.1.132 for database servers.

now:

how do i  configure a backup lan ?

shall I assign randomly another IP to the second switch ? and configure the second NIC of each server to point this switch?

Or shall I bond all server NIC 1 and NIC 2, and if yes, how do I configure switch IPs?

another question is: when i'll move to customer network all this, I assume the local network will assign me antoher Ip .. I will  have to reconfigure all server with IP and gateway, and all Application IP, DB ips:

what is the best way to have the switch act as a router, i mean, how can i configure the thing so that all what is behind the switch will never need to updchange IP, but remain accssible (for maintenance, and web access) maybe something like vyatta of nginx ?

Thanks for your support

vince
