We are configuring our Network to allow printing to a printer that is dedicated to a separate corporate network. Users on the Non Corporate network can not have access to the corporate network. So currently we are utilizing the second Ethernet port on the Non - Corporate server to connect to the Corporate network via the corporate switch. We can not traditionally route as we do not have access to the corporate router.
Currently we have configured the second ethernet port on the non corporate server to use an IP address and subnet that is available on the corporate network. We then installed the printer on the server and shared the printer using group policy ( The server is Server 2012R2 with ADDS installed).
What we would like to accomplish is to find a way to configure the ethernet port ( IPv4) to communicate with the printer on the same network however to not have any of the addresses in the corporate subnet visible to non-corporate users and to not have any IP addresses in the non-corporate network visible to the corporate network. The ethernet is configured:
Ethernet 1:
Server Ethernet, Static IP in 10.131.0/24 Server has ADDS, DNS, DHCP Server, and File Share roles installed. DNS is 127.0.01
Ethernet 2:t
Printing, Static IP of 173.118.10.14 /24 No Gateway address , No DNS.
What would be an acceptable way to accomplish this?
