In our business, it’s a necessary evil to have wireless enabled for roaming laptop users, executives with cell phones / tablets and guests. Unfortunately, we also have a 24/7 call center; the call center seems to acquire our WIFI credentials and uses it as they see fit.
Sure, changing the password and or SSID from time to time will obviously reduce this issue.
However, I wanted to inquire with the community to see if anyone has suggestions on solutions that will allow me to create a means of secondary authentication. There must be a free application and or O/S (linux?) that will allow me to do this – perhaps take an old workstation, install two network interfaces and have it act as some type of proxy.
Suggestions / solutions?
