Multiple incoming attempts on port 2799

Hi

Over the last few days our firewall is showing thousands of incoming traffic requests on port 2799. These are from multiple IP's.   So far our firewall is blocking all attempts and there has been no noticeable affect on our connection. 

Previous to this we were getting attempts on port 8099, which slowly switched to port 2799.

Has anyone else noticed anything similar?
