I was working on installing Fog Server on Ubuntu 0.32 and then after I told it during installation I didn't want it to be the DHCP server, it told me to set option 006 & 067 on our Windows server. I tried to follow the directions to the best of my ability, and then I determined that when unsetting option 006, I would completely destroy our Allworx Phones ability to boot from the Allworx server since apparently it also uses PXE to boot up the phones.
On my Primary Domain Controller after right clicking DHCP/mickey.ucpsar.org/IPv4/Scope [10.0.0.0]/Scope Options-> Configure Options, I noticed that there is also an advanced tab...and that this advanced tab has some options about "Vendor Class" and "User Class" that seemingly would be the correct way to differentiate between the Allworx phones and the in need of Ghosting Windows 7 PC, when booting with PXE.
I also noticed that the DNS Servers and gateway that we use are also assigned to our PCs here when they receive a DHCP address.
Now my question is how do I safely configure my DHCP server so that I can use 067:pxelinux.0 and turn off option 060 for just the PXE PC clients.
