Help setting up QoS on HP 1910 for SMB network

Hello,

I am in need of some assistance in setting up QoS on the small network I have built over the past year; particularly to improve teleconference performance (we use GTM [gotomeeting] and now Lync quite frequently for desktop sharing/voip) and have been having trouble with intermittent connections and dropouts. The issues have been on the radar for a while now (3 months or so) but recently usage has picked up for external meetings with clients and they are causing some headache

Some brief background on the infrastructure: 10meg down/3meg up business DSL, piped into TMG2010 serving as our main firewall (3-legged setup w/DMZ for ftp server) which then talks to a HP1910 acting as a core router for 3 separate vlans (servers/infrastructure [AD/DNS/DHCP], workstations/printers, and lab network) via a trunked connection to a HP 1810 (4port LACP) which carries all of the vlans and connects to patch panel.  There are 5 of us working in this office, all with concurrent connections.

On a typical day, at least 2 people are streaming pandora/spotify in the background as well as heavy file server (SMB/CIFS) reads from the server farm to the workstations (we are an engineering firm and run massive modeling simulations generating binary output files in excess of 200-300GB which are stored on the file server). Additionally we have the normal traffic from web browsing/outlook polling and then the teleconferencing at least twice a day now.

As of right now, there is no QoS on the network (has been on the list though!). The 1910 uses static routes and the TMG is the GOLR. Having never set up QoS before I am slightly overwhelmed regarding 1) figuring out the logical order to set things up and 2) how to classify the various traffic.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as the boss wants this figured out ASAP.

Thanks in advance guys,
-Aaron
