We currently have stacked Powerconnects 7048r's on our network connected to a Sonicwall NSA 3500 on port gi1/0/45 and gi1/0/43 that keep getting dropped causing everybody to lose there internet access. After seeing all the spanning tree msg's I suspected it could be causing the problem so I tried turning it off on those 2 ports, which didnt seem to help. Any suggestions as to why these ports would keep failing? Does it sound like I have a loop in my network? Could someobody point to me the best way of troubleshooting this issue thanks in advance.
