So I got a user with two PCs. Trying to get her to use just the new one, but there are multiple issues preventing that right now. The main one that has me confused is the fact that her home drive is not behaving as I would expect.
The file server is a Windows 2000 server. User's old PC, which works as expected, is XP. New one is Windows 7 (64 bit).
The Windows 7 PC shows all the folders in her home drive (home drive only, there are other network shares to the same server that work fine) with a grey X. I've seen other information regarding this error and offline files.
However what confused me the most is that under 'My Computer' on the XP machine it shows the drive as USER NAME (\\Server\Users) and on the 7 machine it shows Network Drive (\\).
Anyone seen this before.
