Hi all,
I am in the process of completely redesigning the layer 3 topology of our network at a high school campus. I have the basic topology figured out but have a few file servers that I can't figure out what to do with that need to accessible from all subnets.
Originally I was going to put them on their own subnet/VLAN that the layer 3 switches would simply route to, now I'm thinking it might accomplish the same thing if I put them in the DMZ with all the other servers, but be simpler. The attachment shows my original proposed design for reference.
I am currently using TMG2010 but may switch to a different firewall this summer if that matters.
I would of course appreciate any other thoughts on the design.
TIA
