I am having some latency problems when I am trying to transfer data from one subnet(network) to the other through the server. One Nic is receiving its IP information from the DHCP server, The second NIC has a static setting of 192.168.1.2 and no gateway. It is connected to a seperate Gig switch. The only other devive that is connected to this switch is a NAS device (Qnap) - also with a static: 192.168.1.3. When I try to move large data folders from the DHCP network to the NAS network, the server starts responding very slow - not even remote desktop will launch. I feel like I am missing something. Any ideas will be appreciated
