We have just had a Time Warner point-to-point fiber link set up between two campuses. They do not require any special routing or addressing, just plug devices in on each end (like one long network cable). The networks on each end have different subnets, so traffic between them will have to be routed.
There is a Fortinet 80C on each end, and the units will be connected to the TW gear via WAN2.
Do I need to specify an IP address in the WAN2 interface setup, and if I do should this address be on the local subnet? I'm assuming the route gateway would just point to the other device, but I'm unclear on the rest of the setup.
