I was hoping someone could help me out finding a device that will support the parental control efforts I want to put in place. I have a 14 year old daughter that likes to get mouthy and not always do her chores, surprise, surprise right?
So here is what I want to do and I don't think using parental controls is the terminology I want to use to find something I'm looking for. I also tried searching multiple rules for one MAC but that wasn't helpful either. She only connects to the Internet using her iPod. So one device, one MAC but I want to be able to define multiple rules that looks like the examples below.
No Internet connection from 6am to 8:00 am
No Internet access from 4:20 to 5:00pm
Allowing Internet access from 5-6pm
No internet access from 7-8pm
Allowing Internet access from 8-9
No Internet access from 9pm to the next morning which could really just roll into not allowing connection from night till after she goes to school. Then the weekends are a whole other story. So basically I want to be able to define multiple rules for one device. I don't care so much about restricting access to a particular site but its more about there are responsibilities that need taken care of before you can play type of thing.
The router I have now is very weak in this area as I see most are. I can only define one rule per MAC and then to make it even weaker I can only setup a rule that will work till 11:59pm. So if she was smart and was awake at midnight she could get online.
To add a bonus would be to have a modem/router combination so I can send mine back to Comcast and save a few dollars each month.
And yes I know I could simply take her devices for those times but that proves easier said then done. I work varied hours and I simply forget sometimes till it's too late.

I'm also not concerned about having the latest wireless technology, I want it to be a fast/good router but my top priority is creating multiple rules for one device. I love my SpiceWorks community and I'm hoping one of you smarties can help me!
