I've been asked to assume all networking responsibilities at our company. We have six locations with DSL, the best or only alternative at these locations. The modem/router that the ISP provider gives us fail way too much and have a very short life, sometimes we have had to have them change a modem in less than 6 weeks from getting a new one.
Removing their hardware from our network setup seems like a no brainer. However I have no experience purchasing/managing DSL modems that aren't provided by the ISP. What brand/models that offer a good price-value proposition are recommended?
Thanks!
