Accessing Internal website from public IP

Hi Guys

We have two internet connections and I have a website that's running in our office, ive setup a port forward on both routers to the webserver.

See image for clarification.

Any traffic coming from the router 2 seems to hit the webserver just fine.

But on router 1 (draytek 2820) traffic isn't getting through, I can get to the public ip of that router from the internet.

I can also ping the web server from the router, but traffic doesn't get through, its like router doesn't know what to do with traffic aimed for 172.20.110.110:80, even though i have setup port forward in NAT, and I've also tried to open the port in the firewall setting.

Couple of questions:

1. The setup I have is possible isn't it.

2. What DNS should I be using on router 2 LAN settings

3. When I do trace route on router 1 to any public ip address I can see the traffic going through router 1 default gateway which 81.23.x.1

But when I do the trace route for LAN IP 172.20.110.110, in theory it should find it straight away as its directly connected to it, but for some reason the route its showing is one of the  external ip address of router 2 82.153.x.106 and it shows the same IP address 20 time and finishes the trace, so in theory it never gets to 172.20.110.110.

Ive been pulling my hair for the last two days and cant find out why it cant forward the traffic to internal server on the LAN.

I can browse internet from either router, by setting the appropriate DG.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Shoaib
