I have a ProCurve 2610 that has several vlans setup on it. I have taken over this switch, and prefer not to do a hard reset because of the number of users that will be taken down.
However I've got a weird issue. Let me first describe the configuration.
On the 2610 I have ports 1-25 Untagged on VLAN 103 with PCs and Printers on them. Port 26 is a VLAN Trunk with VLAN 1 and 103 tagged to a v1910 series switch, port 1.
Port 1 on the v1910 is Tagged on VLAN 1 and 103. Port 2 is Untagged on VLAN 103. I have a PC I call PC1 on port 2.
PC1 can communicate with any PC or printer on the 2610, no problem. Pings are fine. PCs on the 2610 can ping PC1 no problem. However, PCs on the 2610 can NOT ping other PCs or printers on the 2610.
What might cause this problem? It seems to me there might be something causing the ports to be isolated from one another on the 2610...
