I have an executive that can in this morning and could not get connected to the internet. The networks are all known to be working. The wireless and wired connections on his laptop would "Connect" according to windows, would send/receive packets but no internet access.
I attempted a multitude of things, enable/disable the cards, reinstalling drivers, assigning manual IP, no proxy enabled, disable AVG antivirus/firewall, NETSH reset commands, checking the hosts file and just about everything else under the sun I could think to do.
I really could use some help on this one, any ideas?
BTW... no recent windows updates were performed, MalwareBytes scan came up empty.
I should also note that he was able to connect with his AT&T 3G card just fine.
Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated. Hopefully I didn't miss something simple.
