IP Addressing / Subnets / Routing

Hi All,

I'm hoping for someone to have a moment of brilliance and help me to work out an odd routing problem we are having.

Background:

We have 2 sites linked via a dedicated fibre link, routers at each end of the link with routes setup for 192.168.16.0/20 and 192.168.32.0/20

Issue:

When at the site of the 192.168.32.0/20 subnet I am able to ping all devices, when at the 192.168.16.0/20 subnet site I can ping all devices, except 192.168.32.1-192.168.32.18

What I don't understand is that with a /20 subnet why would the 192.168.32.1 to 192.168.32.18 addresses be unavailable between the sites.

There are no restrictions on the link, all really basic stuff.

Any help greatly appreciated as this is really starting to hurt by brain!

Thanks All.
