So yet another VLAN question.
We have a D-Link DAP-2360 WAP that works great and is multi-SSID capable. I set up one an SSID for the regular Internal network and now they want guest access for our lobby. So I set up another SSID and on the WAP have VLAN ID1 as the default and VLAN ID2 as the guest SSID.
Here's where the help is needed as I'm light on VLAN knowledge. We have a Cisco SGE-2000P switch. I know that I have to set up some ports as trunk ports. Do I set up the port that has the D-Link WAP, and the port of my firewall (router), AND the port that will provide DHCP to clients as trunk ports? Or which ports would I need there? Oh, and I'm doing this through the web interface, not CLI.
Both the VLANs on the WAP are set as "untag" (tag is not available as an option), so do I create my 2nd VLAN for the guest and leave that as untagged as well? And finally, do I add every trunked port as members of both VLANs?
Hope I'm making sense here, and hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
Thanks!
